About the Property

Myself and 6 friends/family just enjoyed a fabulous 4 night stay in this house. Plenty of room, upstairs and downstairs, and a huge kitchen made this time so enjoyable. 50m walk to the beach and also an easy walk into town on a walk path makes this an ideal location. And we loved the deck with the ocean views. We would recommend this property to everyone,

Enjoy a winter break at the gateway to the Margaret River wineries.

Where?

The house is located in the Dunsborough - Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. It is a large luxury family beach house overlooking Geographe Bay - only 50m to the beach.

What's on?

Whale season.

From August to December, come and view these magnificent creatures from the upper balcony. Over recent years the numbers of whales have been increasing. During October the humpback numbers are at their peak. Last year the whale watchers at nearby Point Picquet recorded a peak of eight whales passing per hour. On many occasions when greeting guests we were able to point out 4-5 pods visible from the lounge room. Occasionally blue whales can be seen - this is the only place in the world where they can be seen from the shore. (Hint: hire a bike and ride along the new bicycle path from Dunsborough to Busselton.)

Three queen, two king singles, and four single beds are available in 6 bedrooms.

Washing machine, dryer, sink, washing basket, pegs, ironing board, and two irons - but who wants to know about that?

Baby.

2 porta cots, 2 high chairs, play pen, bed rails, baby bath, bouncer, pram, stroller and change mats are provided for guest with babies on request. Permanent stair gates installed with standard latch.

Wireless network.

Telstra and Optus wireless networks are available in the area.

Local attractions.

Dunsborough is at the doorstep of the Margaret River Wine region. Apart from the few hundred wineries, the area is famous for its beaches both quiet child-safe beaches in Geographe Bay and surf beaches on the west coast; plus golfing, fishing, bike rides, and caves. There are numerous galleries displaying the works of local artisans close by.

Winter.

This house is fully heated. Winter in Dunsborough can be very special - the crowds have gone, but the wineries, scenery and galleries remain. The fishing is even better, and the golf courses less crowded. The large number of humpbacks and near extinct blue whales arrive in August. These can be seen breaching from the house balcony.

Pricing.

No owners' hidden additional costs. Our pricing and calendar are always up to date. This home has an approved holiday home rental licence from the City of Busselton.

Special Rates.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights are special lower rates. Easter is a five-night minimum. Christmas and January bookings have a seven-night minimum, unless there is a 'gap' between bookings.

School Leavers Week.

During this period the house is taken out of service for maintenance and is unavailable.

Six bedrooms, three bathrooms, fully equipped games room, and a two-car lockup garage. With a polished rosewood and Marri interior, gorgeous solid jarrah furnishings and multiple extras to spoil you - such as the hot outdoor shower, reverse cycle air conditioning, 4 TVs, 3 DVDs, VCR, Playstation 4, pool table, air-hockey and soccer table - you will be able to make the most of your holiday without leaving the property.

Imagine eating breakfast overlooking Geographe Bay on the large jarrah viewing deck while you watch the beach-goers make the most of Dunsborough's turquoise-blue southern waters.
